They are also masters of camouflage as they can match textures, patterns, color, and brightness and all without color vision.

Two days ago the water temp was 41 deg F (9 deg C) at 100 feet. It is slowly cooling down in this El Nino warm spell we are having.

I know I am coming in sideways with freshwater shipwrecks but I can't help myself. Here is a shot from the Tioga wreck in 25 feet of Lake Superior water.

Dove on the Koln (Coln?) in Scapa Flow when passing through on the Mason 44. Also, dove a nice freighter in Sound of Mull and the ship full of mines near the Isle of Sky. Was able to do the dives...

Depth of the photo was about 110 - 120 ft approximately. The wreck is in 160 ft of water. Sunk in the Bell Island anchorages by a German U-boat in November of 1942.

Took this shot last week on Isle Royale. It is the galley light on the Emperor, a large steel freighter that went down in the 40's.
