My 4-108 had a stiff wire (coat hangar) attached to the fuel shut off lever directed to the rear of the engine. I never minded jumping down into the engine room to shut it off as it forced a visual...

coolant water take off from Yanmar 3gm30

This engine still has original painted coolant hoses... The water heater is built to accept hotwater from the engine and I would like to have that option....also would like to install 2 cabin heaters...

I am going in...never having re-stuffed...anybody out there want to share some experience? I want to do the rudder pin and the drive shaft...neither are "drip-less" ... any thoughts as to weather...

The engine was not running. I turned the water pump by hand and it rushed by the pump. I think there was significant water pressure on the hose.

Can you explain why there is a difference between...
