The recommended grease is Lubriplate 130aa which is a waterproof grease also used for military, guns and industrial applications. Is there an armory there?

The Shipmate Stoves were well made by the Richmond Ring Co. They are out of business. I have replaced most of the components. The push button safety switch is a robertshaw from a hot water heater....

Almost all come from China....West gets theirs from Fastco . They are ok.....just get them in the 100 piece packs for best pricing. Also clean all fasteners with good solvent before using as the are...

Quick tip....Most small round gauges are 52mm or 2-1/16". If you have a 2" hole saw squeeze it in a vise to make it a bit oval....It will clear the chips easier and make a perfect hole for most...

This "case " is so important as to where you are in the Bahamas. There is very little space at any marina for haul at this last minute.....jam it in the mangroves and goo luck.!

Doug, the mixture screw that feeds the idle is under the "aluminum" cap. In order to clean it out you must remove it and unscrew the mixture screw....I use an Ancor mini torch that is often used on...

The "cooler" supplied by ZF is a simple heat sink. After my 2nd failure I changed to a bigger gear. Read the ratings very carefully and check your shaft alignment.

I was getting 230 F+ readings...

An oil pressure SWITCH if wired correct will give you an alarm. Useful and on your engine easy to install if not there already.

A sender for a gauge might take up the only port to sense pressure...
