Re: Sailing Beaufort to Miami -> Bahamas
If you need to schedule two weeks off in advance, then you would have to be pretty lucky to get a good weather window. We used waterway guide a few years ago and were very happy with it. Active... |

Re: Blue Wave Dyneema Terninals vs. Splice
I did this on my back stay because it has a ssb antenna spliced into it, causing it to slowing stretch (not sure if you would call it creep?). Every couple months I tighten the turnbuckle a little... |

Re: Comparing RIBs to HP air floors
I have one season on my 10’ Achilles HP air floor, it replaced my old caribe 10’ RIB. I think the caribe was a couple inches longer but the Achilles definitely planes with way less effort, I had a 15... |

Re: Mooring for two weeks in Rhode Island/Cape cod area this summer
I left my boat in New Bedford for a week last summer, I believe it was Popes island marina. The harbor is very well protected and has hurricane gates. Cuttyhunk, Martha’s Vineyard & Newport are all... |

Re: Yanmar 4JH4E random drop in RPM
Thanks, that's definitely possible and I will check but I have two tanks, it does it on either tank and the bottom bowl my racor is spotless. I would think at least some sediment would be getting... |

Yanmar 4JH4E random drop in RPM
On a recent trip out my 4JH4E experienced a random drop in RPM while operating at cruising speed (about 2200 rpm). This was a multi day day trip, the day before I had motored about 8 hours no issue.... |

Re: Two cruising boats missing in the Pacific
