I've finally made the big step myself, and just this month have dumped a ton of stuff to craigs list and ebay and to friends and neighbors! Oh, uncomplicating our lives feels so good....

after two decades in the same type of situations... I'd keep my mouth shut until late Oct and then say... "I'm thinking I need to take a leave of absence for a year or two" and see how they react....

That is a really loaded question. Kinda depends on the brand name, mfg., age... etc. etc. etc.
Remember that on a Cat you have twice the fuel filters, twice the oil changes, twice the outdrive...

I use both a TIG & Plasma cutter unit on mine. Cost me $700 about 2 yrs ago, use the diving compressor to pump up the tanks and then I made a manifold from yokes and hp hose to feed the plasma...

In order to properly torque the fastener I believe most if not all reputable mfgs specify using a lube of one kind or another...so... +1 on the Anti-seize because stainless against stainless will...

In the end, nothing can survive the ocean and elements. So sad... It was quite an effort on the part of the crane operator though. I'm so surprised it took so long to unload the containers...

There's a beautiful 2010 Morelli Melvin 65 on catamarans (dot) com for 2.9 mil (used) and she's a beauty. I'd be willing to keep my current one for a backup and use this one for my main entertainer....
