6'3" should not be a hindrance in Florida or the Bahamas. There are some places you will have to watch the tide and others you will have to mind the channel. You can ground with 5'6" if not careful.... |

You might get away with out bottom paint in fresh water. You will not in salt water especially in warmer regions. It is not necessarily pollution but warm salt water is host to barnacles and tube... |

All you need is a step down voltage regulator/ convertor can be purchased on Amazon. $20 to $50. It is a common item on 24 volt boats. |

That the lender requires that they be a named insured is standard if the boat is the collateral for the loan. |

Years ago I met a man who had lost legs at the thy and he sailed. It can be done with enough planing and boat modification. Marinas are another issue but ones with wheel chair friendly do exist. |

Years ago beer was always expensive in the Bahamas and we would take cases of beer with us. Rum was always cheaper. fuel was two or more times the price US. |
