Just remove the entire pump and replace it---in the end it will be both much easier and cheaper because it is no just a matter of replacing the seals...the shaft will be damaged for sure---simple job...

The solution to your problem is Thompson Couplings made in Australia. Study their website. I have used their coupling For many years with great success. Excellent design

Much experience with large plastic windows Lexan and acrylic- use GE1200 series silicone to handle expansion probs , every other solution I tried had issues

Depends entirely on the "synthetic' fiber and any cover material chosen. If you use all carbon rigging and take care of it, it should last "forever".
