Float charging damaging lithium batteries refers to batteries that do not monitor cell voltages, only the terminal voltage of all the cells collectively.

The issue here is the thinking is stuck in the lead acid world, 50% SoC in a lead acid battery is easily measure by voltage, LFP, LYP and LTO lithium batteries can only use voltage as measurement...

The Victron community site has the plug type and pin-out for each of the different communication cables, so if you want to save money, you can make your own.

A critical problem has not been addressed here, what voltage is fully discharged? 100% of the stated capacity is fully discharged, any more than that is draining an LFP battery into the damage zone....
