Here in Crescent City the wise mariners all take their boats to sea when there is a serious threat.

The last boat out in the last Tsunami went across the bar as the wave was coming across the bar...

I have even put my survival suite on to cross the Crescent City, CA bar, and it is reputed to be the best harbor entrance between SF Bay and Puget Sound, though not during Tsunamis.

I am sure gdps is not running well. I am a member of dialout, I slayed that dragon last week, but thank you for asking.

xgps shows no info on position - by the way the GPS itself works fine in...

I suggest doing some serious math to learn your vessels range. You should read either "Voyaging Under Power" by Beebe, or as a weaker substitute "The Troller Yacht" by Bueller, to learn the formulas...
