can confirm <ctrl><mac key>f working. As Gerhard said u have only memory for the key combo, i was still hammering away at F11, which has worked in the passed, needs updating in the manual.

after more prodding, i found that deleting my ini file and restarting restored normal behaviour, going to compare them when i get a chance. Nothing in the log

After a bit more prodding i discovered that the behaviour i described for the grib plugin toolbar button is exactly the same with the logbookonni button..
two clicks to close....any other button...

Just want to update that comment about hesitation/freeze on zoom, just rebuilt the texture cache again & its a vast improvement....only very infrequent freeze at certain zoom levels, which can be got...

More beating... the OS X menu bar options/preferences are not in sync with the tool bar options/preferences ...turning on or off quilting in the menu bar does not tick it in the options window, this...

we leapt the first hurdle and O started OK
but fell at the second

ok, created an xcode project, and built it, ran the executable
pretty much the same result as cmake in the terminal, immediate crash.

Just compiled 3.3.1713 on Mac OSX.7.5 using cmake against wx 2.9.5

It compiled OK with no errors, but on launching O there was an an immediate crash.

O's log was as follow -

here's the same screen shot i posted previously of the assert, this is with opengl enabled & can only be got round with a force quit....

re the stack trace, it appears there is a complete...

with opengl turned off, produces a different assert this can be dismissed..
resulting in an instant crash

Compiled fine on OSX.7.5, wx2.95

Assert that was happening on launch has gone..good stuff
All appears normal & excellent when pushing all the buttons...
thats with an without Opengl...

not much joy i'am afraid, opengl not playing, it still refuses at 63%, results -

Hi Sean, i switched to GCC compiler earlier today an compiled a pull i did this morning, the mouseover issue was gone (it was not happening in master 1606 btw), also compiled a lot more quietly.

sean, couple more observations…..

mousing over the toolbar causes the canvas to jump slightly with each mouseover….this is only with opengl off

there is no problems when grabing the toolbar and...

Sean, selected cm93 charts…..opengl ON …compression OFF….
all appears normal/stable….no GPS monitor….

Enable compression…..did scan charts …just a brief flash of the dialog window then nothing...
