Also, check that there’s not a plugged screen on the pick up inside the tank. I’ve been on two boats where that was an issue.

Really useful are satellite charts and software like open CPN. You can actually see the motus that aren’t always plotted on navionics charts when traveling in the atolls

Right on the face of the course computer, it says S3 or S3G. The S3G has a Gyro, so it actually steers better but it steers more than without the Gyro I have found.

I have loosened the clamp, but it didn’t seem to want to rotate with it really loose. I’m sure it will, I will try again, and I think use the can trick, or else the tinfoil, and then clamp it back...

That’s a great idea guys, why didn’t I think of that. I have lots of foil on board. I am Sailing most of the 18 miles but I have to pull into a marina. Can’t sail in.
