Electric motor wiring

Good morning,

I'm wiring a 48 v 3 phase brushless DC motor. The round trip is 20 to 30 ft (approx). The continuous load is 50 amp and max load is 100 amp. I purchased 4 gauge awg tinned wire....

Cable glands

I am having a hard time sourcing romex cable glands for 16/2 anchor type flat boat cables. I can find down to 14 / 2 does anyone have a source for these?

The difference was due to physical size needed to mount on my hand rails and fold straight down when not needed. All panels are on adjustable mounts, well along the long axis anyway.

Its is going to be brushed. The prop I chose is a high torque for heavier boats. Its maybe 1/2 inch larger with a extra blade.

Yes those numbers look about right the motor nominal is 6hp peak at ten 100 % at 4000 rpm

Thanks You, all your assumptions are correct. I will draw it up again. The reason for multiple banks was based on my assumption that a battery bank should be isolated from loads while charging....
