The top of the mast is 57 feet from the waterline, we fit under all the bridges on the ICW with the exception of the one between Ft Lauderdale and Miami.

The owners berths are forward facing as shown in the photos, the other aft berth is side facing as shown in the diagram. Also on Makana there is a nav. station at the top of the steps on the owners...

Yes, these Yanmar 3YM30 engines have 4000 hours; Rotella oil & Yanmar filter changes every 100 hours, valves adjusted every 500, new mixing elbows 2016 and new raw water pumps 2017, enjoy!

Dave is spot on, this was a classic problem with the first rotating batten sails on windsurfers back in the late 80's early 90's. Not stiff enough battens and wimpy sail cloth.
