Re: Leaking Lewmar "Ocean" Hatch

We rebedded every piece of thru-bolted deck hardware/hatches/etc. in 2014 with the butyl tape from Compass Marine (https://pbase.com/mainecruising/butyl_tape).

Since then, we probably have...

Re: Help / FAQ

Using the keyboard is better than using a mouse in some conditions. + and - keys (and alt + and -) for zooming in and out is super useful. Check out the help file for all the keyboard controls.

Re: 9 blade impeller versus 12 blade impeller

PJCruising,
Do NOT buy at 12 blade. I'll repeat that. Do NOT buy a 12 blade.

Re: Leaking Lewmar "Ocean" Hatch

Dockhead,
Sorry to see this late. I do not recommend buying a new hatch -- even though you already did. I put 8 lewmar ocean hatches on my trimaran when I bought here in the 90s. They mostly worked...

Re: MBtiles Catalogs made for ChartDownloader?

Hi All,
I don't think it's a good idea to add MBTiles charts to the OpenCPN Chart Downloader. There are several reasons, but the most important is that putting ‘homemade’ MBTiles in the same...

Re: OpenCPN Free charts vs Paid charts comparison

The most important thing is to have MULTIPLE sources of charts in OpenCPN. ALL charts have errors -- whether downloaded from NOAA, Navionics, or MBTiles made form satellite images. So you want to be...

Re: Beware: non-Yanmar impellers for 4JH series may not prime
