Has anyone done this shortcut? The charts make it look like it’s a no go, but the satellite images appear to be pretty deep.. for a shallow keel.

It turns out one injector was adding too much fuel.
And the transmission needed new bearings and a cone drive.

So it looks like I have the drilled nut with pin going through nut and shaft, any thoughts on how to remove it? I was planning to try a punch and tap it out. Is that what is recommended? I don't see...

I have the shaft backed out but not sure where the strut ends and the bearing starts. It all looks like one piece. (Please see images)

Coolant is fine. I thought it could have been exhaust elbow, so I just put on a new one and it helped a bit but not the problem.

The engine head is coming off tomorrow.

In the morning I’ll bypass the primary Racor filter and see what happens.
If the prop somehow changed, how would one be able to identify that?

Max was 2500-2600rpm depending on how clean the...

The prop has been fine for 12yrs I’m not sure what has changed.

I thought it could be a fuel problem too but doesn’t explain why Neutral and Reverse work just fine.

Been fine for last 12yrs. Definitely a new problem.
Did yours run fine in neutral and reverse?
Also the starting is strong, cranks right up.

Max prop 3 blade feathering

The smoke is the same regardless of how long the engine runs. And doesn’t explain why it only happens in forward gear. But yes it does behave like too much fuel once...
