The new gasket is on. The inner liner is glued onto the foam inside the door. I used 2 table knifes to lift the liner from the foam and was then able to slide the new gasket on. Took a bit of time...

Thanks, but it’s not the same type of seal. This one slides in over a the edge.

Vitrifrigo replied and says I have to buy a new door.........about 450 $...crazy

The top picture shows the bottom of the fridge, where the grommet was placed. there's no screw behind the grommet.
The two other pictures show the seal and the flap...

No I didn't remove the old one yet.

There's a plastic grommet on the outside bottom of the SS frame, is that the one you refer to?

I'll check it out later today.

My air conditioning system is keel cooled, it's a 60.000 BTU unit with 2 compressors.

I only use 1 compressor at a time as I'm running a full electric galley, ovens, fans and ventilators running...

I only know of 1 anchor manufacturer that specifies 800mpa steel - Anchorright Australia...that's the correct steel grade to be used for anchors. I will not risk my boat and investment on a homemade...

Maany steel and aluminium boats might have built-in tanks - they are epoxy treated - maybe this epoxy can dissolve some of its chemicals into the water, wether this is RO, rain water or mains water....

I doubt it was fully charged. It came from another storage place and was placed in the cabinet by some maintenance guy who forgot about it..and I don't want it if its damaged...
