We owned a 2010 Outremer 49. We sailed her from Rhode Islander to New Zealand and the back to Victoria BC Canada. We loved her and would buy an outremer again when we buy another.

I poured vinegar into the raw water filter down the intake side and let it sit for a few days. Now I can close them :)
