Thanks for the reply. I will get back to him.
Just checking that its ok to have a usb NMEA 0183 data into Opencpn as that is the output from my AIS transponder and then have the Actisense NGT-1 on...

Ive just installed this plug in and it looks great. I hope to get it running soon. Ive contacted my supplier of the Actisence NGT 1 and hes out of stock because its being replaced with NGW-1-STNG ....

Telnet settings

Im using airmail 3.4 for emails with my Icom 718 radio and pactor IIusb modem but cannot get the right settings to use telnet when connected to the internet.
Can anyone help?

At the top of the screen on the right is a vertical column of 3 dots. This opens the menu for create route etc. Routes can be selected with the button next to the 3 dots

I bought a Hunter 34 in Waukegan. Had a great trip through the lakes, erie canal and the Hudson river then down to Chesapeake Bay. Then sailed across the pond to the UK. Took 2 seasons though.

I have a 1720 and its great. You do have to reduce rain setting though to get it to be super sensitive. With this I can see seagulls from 1/2 mile and the flags on crabpots at 1/4 mile.

In those conditions I would have all the sails down, a drogue trailed from the stern and everything battened down and wait till the storm goes through.

used to be used to hold the boat at an angle to the wind. Now totally redundant.
Roll up the genoa, take down the main , put the engine on and motor home!
