The entrance to St Augustine is not easy. Narrow channel and lots of shoaling. It would be made more difficult if the crew is tired from the passage. In short, pick another Florida inlet.

I did it southbound and northbound in 2000 and 2001, respectively, and northbound in 2010. No problem, mon. Just pay attention, as you would in any stretch of the ICW.

Airmar P19 depth and st800-p120 speed/temp. Both bodies are plastic. The speed/temp is the narrow diameter retractable type.
