As the boat was build pre-CE certification, most likely there will be no need to have CE Certification for a 1978 boat.

Yes most likely … you can try “yacht in Transit” or just get the bare minimum you can carry and sail to Hong Kong and get all the rest there

Then extend the wire from your boxtron connection on the right side of the box where you plug in the wired handheld to the cockpit and use the wired version … seems simple enough… I prefer 2 build in...
