If unit has run faithfully for two years would be inclined to think original install was acceptable. I would be looking at and cleaning every power supply connection whether it appears good or bad....

This IS the USVI . The voters vote the same crooks in year after year. It is very unlikely anyone cares about rich yachtees. Prolly most will just ignore the regs and no one will come to enforce...
