other option: get a loan, fix it, then sell the boat. should help you to recover more value than selling some single items plus cost of scrapping the rest.

Sure they sell at a quite low price for such a big boat. I do like the 50 much better than the 56. The stern on the 56 is like on the 50, but with a inflatable dinghy garage...

if you go close hauled to beam reach it'll be fine. broad reach 120 degrees ...hmmm... you'll just go very slow, around 3knots unless you have an asym. we are doing coastal cruising only.
