Thanks heaps newhaul!! I contacted the authorities in New Cal and we are allowed to bring in coir. That was an extremely helpful suggestion!!

Woah that's a scary looking thing! Not a bad idea though. I have a circular saw on board. Kind of a hassle taking the generator and tools to the beach but it's possible.

Thanks for the replies. One problem is that our first destination is New Caledonia and they are very strict. I expect that any coir we have on board will be confiscated as a biological risk.

Thanks Psneeld. There's not much space so it should be easier if I can use 1" hose. The next problem is finding it. All the sanitation hose I've seen is 1 1/2". Same with the Y-valves etc. Anyway...

Thanks for the reply. Maybe I didn't explain myself very well. I meant 1" hoses, not rigid pipes.
