How long is the hose between the head and holding tank, and what volume of water does your head pump?

I’d want to run the head long enough to clear the “deposit” from the hose.

Buy some artificial ocean for an aquarium, mix up 5 gallons of seawater and use that to run the thing. Just be sure to use non chlorinated water.

Usually available at the aquarium store.
