Thanks for the positive vibe. I should done with my shore errands by Tuesday but I have a Leopard cat that makes me like less than 15 knots and 7ft seas.

I will miss the ideal window there is...

Of course I do it with sails down; it ia just that 7+ ft sea and 20kt wind in the nose does nor make it pleasant haha. These condomarans have a lot of windage too! I always look for a window no more...

Anegada Passage in March?

I have crossed the Anegada Passage from BVI to St Martin several times but it was always in April or May. I never had to wait more than 2 weeks for a good motorsailing window with wind up to 10 knots...

Does anybody know if the counties in Virginia and North Carolina that charge Personal Property Tax on boats (example;: Mathews, VA) will actually charge it on a foreign-flag boat...

Thank you everybody. I take that in order to make the switch to 4-stroke we will need once with electric start and I cannot find that at a good price in St Martin. We may get an old-style Yamaha 15HP...

How difficult is to start a 20 HP 4-stroke?

I am far away from the water and need to order a new outboard for our 12-ft RIB.

We have always used 15 HP old-style 2-stroke engines but I am tempted to make the jump to a 15 or 20HP...
