Re: What about fuses with the switches at point of use?

Re: What about fuses with the switches at point of use?

You intend to tap several “much smaller wires for the LEDs” from the 4AWG protected upstream by a 50 A circuit breaker. Then you run those tap wires to the correspondent loads where you fuse and...

Re: Silly idea - mylar balloons as safety gear?

CO2 density at 21 C, 1 bara is aprox 1800 g /m3. A 32 g CO2 cartridge holds aprox 0.018m3 of CO2 expanded. That’s 18 litres, a sphere of aprox 32 cm of diameter (12.5 in for the metrically...

Re: New water tanks placement

Can’t opine on the weight placement but what about flexible bladders in the aft positions? Instead of custom HDPE? I am going to add a bladder to my OE HR Mistress 32 under the SB quarter berth....

Re: Dead Batteries in Portugal

Hi. Try www.bateriasdacidade.pt . They do sell Trojan and Exide (among others). Everytime I've dealt with them they've been knowledgeable and nice.

Re: Help! Yanmar 3YM30 dumped what seems like all of its oil!

Too much oil can also cause excessive crankcase pressure. How much oil can you read on the dipstick and how much you figure is in the pan bellow the engine? Have you checked oil level before using...

Re: Massive amounts of plastic....burn or ignore?

I'm very sorry, my iphone has a will of its own, sometimes. I was just looking for an edit/delete button but can't find it. Not even a "report" so a mod could help delete...
