Hi,
Long time since the you posted but I would be interested in why the PMG needed replacing.
We have one of these generators and the PMG failed with only 600hours and within the 24 month warranty....

The system is 12v. Unfortunately, the space available precludes the use of 700AH. Why do you recommend another one in a couple of years?

The European standard is 220v 50Hz.
You can of course use a transformer to reduce the voltage to 110v but the frequency will still be 50Hz. This could mean that some equipment designed for 60Hz will...

Sorry, but if you re-check his route it's from Suez Canal to Malaysia via Port Ghalib, Egypt then through the Red Sea to Djibouti. From there some 800 mile North through the Gulf of Aden to Salalah....
