Turned out I had a friend with a mooring ball at Port Dinorwic and offered to us but Aberystwyth Marina just got back to us and offered us their fuel birth until they can find us...

It's the inner spacer that keep them in place I think.

Yep, I had to cut the stainless wire as I assume they were swaged on to fit

I think I've figured it out

Just gotta push out inner bits out and the pins should fall out I assume as that's all holding them in?

I did consider this but I know someone with a seasport 4.50 which would definitely take the 55hp and it has the same transom, the ribs just longer

It doesn't really matter but it would save me...
