Fuel cut off solenoid is operating properly. In the open position and cut it and it closes compared it to other motor and doing exact same.

So definitely not getting fuel. What sensors will cause her not to allow fuel? Racors are clean and full

Okay so i知 sitting on anchor. She fired up, I pulled out of the marina and my starboard motor stalled.. weird. Dropped anchor and am trying to get her going

Racors look good but changed them...

sounds like if the sun, moon and winds align depleting me of juice that i'll have to go old school and anchor while I recharge. I'll keep the rum stocked!

Push forward on the throttle and lean on the generator to recharge the battery bank. Right back at 5kts

Hull speed is based on a combination of length at waterline, hull design and weight. Not simply weight.

I知 more than happy with a 5kt motoring speed with electric.

Definitely some leeway on applying force when removing it. Only component I don't want to damage is the prop shaft.

She's a Bruce Roberts 45' ketch. The couple had let her sit for several years...

yeah she'll have to come forward, i've got a setup braced to do that but I can't seem to get them to come apart. I have all the bolts out around the back side of the transmission and bell housing so...

Never said I found it cheaper, simply that i壇 like to go electric. I rebuild marine diesels daily and in my opinion this specific one is not worth the rebuild when i知 wanting to go electric...

The current perkins 4.154 that i’m pulling out is in the 50hp range and it would push her past hull speed before it died. Not worth it to rebuild her once I started diving into it

I have found 10kw to be a common setup people have so if someone is upgrading i’ll take that or greater off their hands. I can always upgrade the motor once I get her going and get the full electric...
