Indiantown is great for long term storage but NO work is allowed on your boat unless you move it to the work yard which is more expensive.

Also you may get lucky enough to get a mooring ball in Warderick Wells,awesome spot, also the HQ of the land and sea park who maintain many rugged moorings in the area.

Learned on a plastic,bringing street lights down to the horizon, then crossed the Atlantic with it, long before GPS. Hard to be super accurate on a 32 ft boat in the Atlantic.

Aqua map is your friend, based on explorer charts. If winds favorable ,leave WPB at dawn, onto banks by memory rock late afternoon ( sun behind you) overnight at Mangrove (ok to approach after dark)...

Why not permanently separate the start battery and charge it with a Echo charge from the main bank,simple and not expensive.

Just to dampen down the fear of crush washers, I have 1500 hours on my Hurth box, I change the oil every 100 hrs when I change my engine oil. I am still using the original drain plug washer! No leaks.

Don’t want to be rude,but a connector strip ,in my view would be a ‘cob job’.
Put in a small fuse box,down the road you are bound to want to add something,like USB outlet.

We have two Tower inflatables,they have been much used the last two years in the Keys and Bahamas. If we are sailing we deflate and store away. If we are stationary a few days they stay on deck ....
