Sailboats are often times under zinced. These fish are great way to protect your expensive bits and bobs within the boat. I installed a threaded brass rod through the deck and clip my zinc fish to it...

It is the West Marine 6 gallon heater with a separate 6 gallon (ish) holding tank. The PO has it set up in series, if you will, so that the engine can heat through both tanks or the 120 volt can heat...

I've got a portable as well and I think I'm just going to go that route. Gives me more flexibility and the ability to take it ashore if need be. The dive compressor is going to be a big issue for us...
