Re: What happens to all the wannabees?

This wannabe leave for Cape Town tomorrow to sail on a 48 ft cat, cross an ocean, visit 5 countries on 3 continents in the next 3 1/2 months. Not too shabby for a wannabe I’d say. Happy New Year...

Re: The Live aboard stereotype.

Re: 40 or 42+ Cat?

Check out the Bali 4.0 & 4.2. IMHO great use of space and idea. Hoping they'll have a used owners version in 2 years for us to grab.

Re: Prospective live-aboard reality check

We are in the Houston area and although the water is no where close to the beautiful water of Florida, it looks more like chocolate milk, there are several nice marinas that allow live aboards. We...

Re: Climate Change - what to expect for cruising life

For sure! The UN makes the mafia look like Mother Teresa in a 3 piece suit.

To answer the OP's initial question - No change in my cruising plans so now I'm moving along.

The Coast Guard hasn't updated their online system to allow for multi year renewal. The only way to do it for now is via regular mail and submitting the renewal form. Once their system is updated...

Re: Upgrading from a Lagoon 410 for a bit more pace?

Check out the Bali 4.3. The garage door design is awesome and allows the need for only one settee unlike most cats that have two (one in the rear cockpit area and the other inside the salon). This...
