Re: Frigoboat water-cooled grounding

I don't know if resolved or not.
I don't have a reference cell to check what is happening (can't get anything in Pacific Islands - unless a fellow cruiser is nearby for a loan?)
I have bonded the...

Re: Mastervolt alpha pro 3 control

I agree.
The USB interface is essential.
Once you put in the password of 498, you get access to many settings - including adjusting output (which decreases field current).

Re: Mobile App Changes

Is it possible that the owners have realised that the app has no adverts, so earns them nothing?
So they are closing the app to force use of the website, to show adverts?

Volvo d2-50 motors (x2) , 1 Balmar 618 regulator, 1 alpha pro 3 regulator, 1 victron 712 display. 4 x 125 LFP batteries.

Where do the dashboard volvo voltmeters get their volt measurements from?...

Re: Blister repair when are you done? What can be left as is?

Not a terrible question.
Just a subject so horrible and diabolical that we don't want to contemplate even thinking about, let alone actually discussing.

Re: Are there any Iridium Go Plans that are truly just one month long?

The dinosaur that is Iridium Go knows that its days are numbered. Instead of trying to meet the market and ask an appropriate (low) price for what is crappy service and performance, Iridium is...

Re: Victron MPPT EMC issues

I have downloaded the SDR app etc. Now I need to find some suitable hardware.
It all sounds so much more sophisticated than the blunt and often unproductive VSWR meter

Re: Has anyone ever tried aluminum chain?

Yup - that nicely takes the idiocy of this discussion to its logical extreme.
Thank you.

Re: Victron MPPT EMC issues

I enjoyed your research and results.
I found it very useful to talk to the guy at
https://www.ledshoponline.com.au/shop/
He supplied me with better 12v only LED bulbs (vs 9-30v noisy LEDs)

Just another data point...

Frigoboat water-cooled grounding
