I agree.
The USB interface is essential.
Once you put in the password of 498, you get access to many settings - including adjusting output (which decreases field current).

Volvo d2-50 motors (x2) , 1 Balmar 618 regulator, 1 alpha pro 3 regulator, 1 victron 712 display. 4 x 125 LFP batteries.

Where do the dashboard volvo voltmeters get their volt measurements from?...

The cat I bought 2 years ago had/has no start batteries. Professional setup. Only 4 x 125 ahr lithium house plus start batteries. Charging is solar and alternators. There is also one AGM aux battery...

My VHF masthead cable runs under the saloon seats, within 6 inches of a 150/85 victron controller, a victron 3000/120 inverter, a victron 100/50 controller and 2 victron...
