Agree with zstine. You’re asking for trouble in how you’ve laid it out. Figure out a clam shell approach and/or a piece of j conduit to better seal that hole.

On my old Volvo diesel, copper washers were used for the fuel lines. Anything rubber would deteriorate, and copper is soft enough that they worked to seal the fuel line joint at the injector....

I used boatnumberplate.com to get a plate with my state reg numbers, then glued that on to my Achilles dinghy. It’s been 2 years now and every corner is still nice n tight.

I can only attest to the 2 marinas I’ve had long term moorage in here in the PNW, and yes, it’s a requirement. Others have noted why. The challenge is that not all insurance companies will do that....
