vehicle dismantler will sell you a small electric car fuel pump for a few bucks
add a couple of hoses and a battery clip or cigarette type fitting on a power lead and pump as much diesel as you want...

If yes then you will know which of 1 and 2 works where you are but if its a line ball then 1 is best/easiest...

it is both much cheaper and unlimited in what you can use to suppress/extinguish a fire

FWIW -here in NZ they have reduced the "life"...
