According to DYC, the announcement does not pertain to bareboat charter and so we were not permitted to enter the BVI. They were unwilling to allow us to try.

Disappointing.

Helpful thread, any reason you didn't head to the BVI for such a long charter? We're being told that they aren't allowing charter boats to clear in, but there is nothing official that I've been able...

Update, we cleared in to Gouvia Port Police (and Corfu Customs / Passport) with no issues on a charter boat.

Just be sure, we had the owner provide a power of attorney for the boat but it was not...

Would also be interested in hearing about the trip, as we have something similar planned. We are also going to put 10 people on a Bali 4.0, so very interested in how manageable that was.
