One more Q though ... any way to change font sizes of the menus? They are rather large so menus drop off the screen.

Hans … The thingy I posted uses windows speech, so whatever language your windows is speaking your WD will speak - I think. Be it Chinese or Latvian or … English. Well … American, not really English...

Not sure if someone has already done this … I am a fan of modern airplane cockpits speaking to you, e.g. "Terrain! Terrain! Terrain! Pull up! …". You get the gist. Great if WD could do that too and...

Screen resolution bug in 5.01 for MacOS

Have a Mac with screen resolution 2560 x 1600 Retina.

In OpenCPN with OpenGL OFF I get 2560x1600. Black tiles on the display though and excruciatingly slow.

Why do you use macOSX 10.15? It is still Beta and not officially released.
I do not recommend to use Catalina. Use Mojave until the dust has settled.

Just to cheer y'all up (maybe) - I run OPENCPN on macOS Catalina Beta. Runs fine! It's other software that seems to play up, not OPENCPN. (Same on IOS beta which frustrates even APPLE apps ...)

There are several plugins but I gather they have all been replaced by one. Did not get that. The replacement caters for the HALO24, I see now. Not the NAVICO plugin. Bit confusing.
