Re: Potential Buyer Asking for a "Test Drive"

:thumb: Thumbs up to this post. I've never been a seller, only a buyer. But I would never consider investing in a boat without seeing her run under sail and under motor. I would suggest to ask for...

Re: Are these chain joiners OK?

FYI - got word back quickly from Osculati on their BLL of their connecting links and it seems they are strong. Not sure on corrosion resistance. For compatibility with the gypsy, I'll probably go...

Re: Thornless Path - 2017/2018

Half way down the thorny/thornless path already (yes I know it's a little early!). Bimini had some dock damage, but no problems to clear in there.
Crossed Bahamas bank to Bird Cay picking up a nice...

Re: Turks and Caicos murky water

So I was able to get some local knowledge. Post hurricanes the water was milky, now it just looks "sandy/cloudy" so it's improving but still a bit of a crapshoot with a 7'3". I will stage at French...

Turks and Caicos murky water

Hi all, we arrived in Turks and Caicos last night and we're planning to head east across the banks tomorrow to stage before crossing to the DR. I've never been here before so I'm surprised how...

Re: Convert Euro boat propane system to US/ABYC

Thanks for the advice. In the end this is what I did - went to a hose supply store, in this case "industrial hose" and had them cut off one end of the hose and replace it with a US propane fitting....

Hi Gaucho. I just got back from a 3wk trip, Abacos->Eleuthera->Exumas and we draw over 7'. Our impression was Abacos were great with some village type atmosphere whereas the exumas were a little more...

Re: bavaria 56 tender garage

An option to consider is an F-Rib which still gives you the rigid bottom but folds into three pieces

Re: Davits for a 2012 Beneteau Oceanis 45

Hi Freshman, thanks for the suggestion and I have inquired with a dealer now. They don't seem very familiar with this option but are investigating. That would be great if you could share some...
