Re: New install not working

So, that's fixed it - almost. The chart directory contents are now the same size as the original and now charts work fine with no black screen, except for ENC text - all the depth info and other...

Re: New install not working

Aha, Well I did tell you I wasn't that clever - I just compared the size of the chart directory on the laptop compared with that on the desktop and the laptop only has 2/3 the size, so something's...

Re: New install not working

Re: New install not working

Believe me, I'm not that tricky, I'm not clever enough! I just pasted it into Word 2010 then saved it as a Word 97-2003 document since you'd asked for .doc not .docx.

I've tried different ways of...

Version is 3.2.2. I've copied the logfile, what's the best way to get it to you?

Thanks!

New install not working

Hi all,

I have OpenCPN installed on my desktop (Windows 8.1) with CM93 charts and it works great. I've just installed it on a laptop (windows 8.1) with the same set of charts and (a) it doesn't...

Re: Composite Propane Tanks

Anyone had any problems with UV degradation on composite tanks? We had two 10lb Lite Cylinders on our boat which were great, stored in a locker. Since then however I've seen a number of Lite...

Wow! Thanks Ironhorse74, that's very good of you. I can get mail here but it will cost to post it so I'll try and find one here first (Grenada), it might be possible, if I get stuck I'll let you...

Nope, tried that first, and they don't answer email enquiries.

The N battery looks like a possibility Ironhorse74, thanks, all I have to do is find one to try it - I'm in the southern Caribbean...

Hello all, I've just bought a boat that has a nice Vion Marine clock, model A105, but no battery is fitted. It's not any of the usual types, AA or AAA for example, although it looks like it might be...

Beneteau First 375 Help Needed !

Hi all, I'm looking at a First 375 and strangely it seems to only have two flexible water tanks under the salon seating. I'm assuming that this is not standard and that originally there would have...

I've had a Spectra watermaker for nearly three years, it runs faultlessly and uses little power. The other day it developed a leak, turned out to be a cracked end cap (which I think might be a...
