Never, ever, coat these coolers with anything, these are meant to be porous in order to be able to cool the refrigerant.

Vetus now has a version which can take much higher temperatures. It’s the black or white version, the grey ones are PVC. They called heavy duty (HD). Price difference is minimal....

Depending on the balance in your boat, by design and or sails, the Windpilot Pacific works really well on a 1968, 53 ft Gallant, designed by van de Stadt.

After quite a bit of research the net result is that the Raymarine AIS 500 has a limited memory capacity. I changed it for an AIS 700 and all works fine.

My AIS transponder, Raymarine 500, is only showing names of class A vessels on the B&G Zeus2 12 inch. Class B vessels are shown but only the MMSI numbers, not name, length etc. This a a very crowded...

In my situation there is absolutely nothing connected yet, only power. The unit is installed after a refit, we are launching this Friday. The network radar and other transducers will be connected...

The yellow wire is not connected to anything. Just the red and the black are connected. Tried the situation and bonded the yellow and red but then you cannot power down.

Yes that’s what I tried as well with the same result, it goes down and than starts again by itself.

I tried that as well and it does not power up after supplying power again. I have to press the power button to start it again...

Yes I am holding it long enough, experimented with the duration. Even if I try to shut it down via the menu the same happens and it starts again...
