Portland Roads is nice, but you need half tide or more to go ashore. Forbes island just north of there is supposed to be nice but we ran out of time. Might go next year.

All in one offline maps is pretty good, with more choice of satellite providers, but won't download google. Can download here maps, ArcGIS and Bing though.

I haven't contacted victron, but in their forum they do say that they have done what I am doing, at least for testing. I think Catnewbee uses an inverter as supplementary power to his Quattro 5000.

You could use two 3kva multilplusses with 50 amp changeover in series (cascade?) I suppose, but then maybe they should just be in parallel as master slave if they are identical.

I have 3jh3e engines they do 3600 rpm. The 3jh4e is a very different engine, only does 3000 rpm.
