I could not see the Standfast picture on site. I assume the one you are looking at is the aluminum Standfast 40. Yes, nice boat. Good luck on your journeys....jimmy

My hull was built by Peterson and finished by PJ in Sturgeon Bay, WI as well. It is different than one shown.

The stringers on both sides of the mast step is what I reinforced by welding steel pieces over rusted out old ones before they rusted completely through. Keel bolts were tightened by previous owner....

The lead ballast is covered with fiberglass and the bilge has a lot of steel that is prone to rust. I have plugs on both sides of keel that should be taken out when put up for winter to allow water...

Looks great. I am landlocked on Saginaw Bay right now. I have tried to have her moved to Jax but costs to do so have been prohibitive....jimmy

Very nice. I have been caught out in a few 5 to 6' swells and a good dodger was a necessity. I also have been considering a short bimini. The loose footed mainsail is also a must these days. I had...

I replaced the mast step plates...2 of them....minimal cost. I also replaced the main with a footless main.

Thank you, Jim and Ann. I just brought her up from Bay City, MI to Augres and through large wakes, she did not rock or move offcourse....jim
