Best way to open and remove thimble

The steel thimbles are narrowed around the swivel. Any idea how to open them up so they can be removed? Thanks

I have stored my boat there for the last 4 seasons there. They completed engine maintance at a reasonable rate. They told me the strut is bent forward and to starboard. I'll have to see if its bolted...

Back in May '16, I fowled my prop. BoatUs towed and then freed the prop. The diver didn't see anything to worry about. The only thing I noticed was a high pitch squeel at low RPM but operated fine....

What type of bilge pump to install?

Well, I have a 20 ft run from the thru hull to the collection point in the bilge. There is approximately a 3ft head. The bilge collection pocket measures 7 inื 7in. x 9in high ( to the floor boards)....

Since I have edited /boot/config.txt. OpenCPN no longer starts on boot and I have to restart kplex ( "apply changes") in order for the multiplex to work. Any ideas why it did this?
