Re: Anyone here based in Puerto Rico?

Puerto Chico does not have a lift. I don't think sun bay does but would have to check. Not sure what facilities have haul out on the south coast but I think on the north coast San Juan Bay marina has...

Re: Help with Rum

Some great runs mentioned here! One that I am surprised hasn't come up is Ron de Barrilito 3 star, a blend which is aged in Sherry barrels. One of my favorites, a great PR rum.

Re: Anyone here based in Puerto Rico?

Palmas is a nice neighborhood. Almost like a town! I've heard their rates are good but for me it's not as convienient as Fajardo. But I run a small center console too.

I recently moved from...

Re: Anyone here based in Puerto Rico?

Personally I would recommend Fajardo for what you are talking about. The east coast is beautiful, easy access to USVI, and Culebra and Vieques are easy short runs. Two good marinas in the area I...

Re: BVI, Off the Beaten Path

Culebra and Vieques have some great isolated spots. Just less likely to have the ease of grabbing a ball, have to anchor etc
