Yes it does have nut with cotter pin. The acorn then screws on the end. I have ultimately found the zpc acorns and I got 2 of them. Had bottom cleaned a few days ago and the old acorn zinc was not...

FYI I do have an EV Power Battery Control Unit (Bcu-ppak) that. Interfaces with the cell balancing modules.
