That's only about 18 amps. In my neck of the woods TS60 Mppt controllers run about usd750. Why did you have such a big controller? I would think a 25 /30 amp controller would be more than sufficient...

Use a 12v light bulb in series. Start with 5watt. Then try a 10 etc.
when you have the speed you want. You're done. Just cover it in putty or some other thing so the light doesn't keep you awake....

Well,

From experience with my own wife, when it's that time of the month she can strip paint from 1000 yards just with that icy glare. Must remember to use it next hull cleaning.
