Large garhauer blocks for working windvane/steering gear

I have 8 garhauer blocks that are way overkill for my boat:
(2) snatch blocks
(3) single blocks
(1) fiddle
(2) doubles w/ becket

My understanding was that this is a longshaft. It's what came with the and it seems longer then my dinghy outboard. I attached a photo of the motor out of the water. Any thoughts?

Yes, something like a newport would work fine. I'd like to find someone who has remodeled their boat and has the flue and deck fittings, etc.

I've been told it's a clone of a S&L Sea tiger. It came on our boat and I could never get it to work right. I swapped it for a newer windlass and have no need for it. It might be a spring tension...
