Re: Protecting boat from mooring buoy

Hi SeawingsHK,
I feel your pain and understand the challenges here in HK. I would try to measure up the mooring buoy and have someone fabricate a PVC sleeve with some padding inside, leaving a hole...

Re: L450 Cooler Box Insulation

Sure, that's a good idea too. Once I remove the countertop, I may consider pulling the whole box and then fabricate a frame to drop in a proper off the shelf cool box. Likely get the best results...

Re: L450 Cooler Box Insulation

Thanks both for your replies. I've checked with the yard and sure enough, it is not supplied with insulation. Am thinking to remove the countertop for access and spray with expanding foam insulation...

L450 Cooler Box Insulation

Hi All, do any L450 owners out there have any input into this? My "cooler box", the box insert outside port aft of the saloon doors for drinks storage with the drain hole, is clearly not insulated....

Re: Lagoon 450 Mast Earth

Yes, I was asking how the mast was earthed. BC's info is spot on, thanks. Will also have a look at the link you posted BB.

Lagoon 450 Mast Earth

Hi all, wondering if anyone has successfully attached a grounding cable to their mast on a Lagoon 450 or similar model? Would like to know what route you took and what gauge cable you used. Also, any...

Re: Frustration getting a straight answer on pricing

For what it's worth, here is the options list that I worked with from my dealer in EUR just a few months ago. I believe the prices have changed recently though.

Re: Which Stack Pack for a L450?

Thanks Larry, any chance you could share the contact for Doyle that you used? Wouldn't mind having a chat with them.

Re: Which Stack Pack for a L450?

Top tips, thanks Dave. We've submitted all the options already as the deadline has passed but I'm going to push for little things to be changed as our rep has been pretty poor on the info. Will do...

Re: Which Stack Pack for a L450?

A quick question folks re having the VHF installed on the flybridge. With a full functional VHF inside the saloon, why wouldn't you simply go for a handheld unit that you can walk around the boat...

Re: Which Stack Pack for a L450?

Thanks Dave and Monte, yet another item where the dealer said, "no, you definitely don't need that". I've been wondering what the best way to summon up a cold one would be and this is it! Will...

Re: Which Stack Pack for a L450?

Roetter - 3 months?! That's not great. We'll see how ours goes. Will likely get a full deck Sunbrella cover that suspends over the boom for whilst she is on the mooring to protect from UV and rain...

Post Re: Which Stack Pack for a L450?

Ah, ok thanks Dave. Think we'll have to do the same then as have been told the yard will not xchg the standard euro sockets for HK style. Thanks for the inverter advice, we've opted for the factory...

Re: Which Stack Pack for a L450?

Thanks for the comments re the stack pack and inverter. We've capitulated and gone for the standard options as everything here seems to fit in the "too hard" corner from the dealers. Not a great...

Re: Which Stack Pack for a L450?

Thanks for the info Steve. After chatting with Simpson today, we've decided to bin the Incidence stack pack and opt for another product from the outset. Likely the same as you from Doyle although...

Re: Which Stack Pack for a L450?

Hi Steve,

Wondering whether you've had a result from Doyle regarding your stack pack yet? We're having a sit down with Simpson, the dealers, later this week to cover number of issues raised here...
