Re: Raymarine AIS650: software collection

No that did not work.
I DO have Axiom pro but it seems AIS650 will not update over NMEA2000.
That's why I proceeded to update via PC/USB.

Re: Mastervolt Alpha Pro original with new alternator temp sensor

It works on Alpha PRO II.

But Alpha PRO 1 does not have Masterbus port.. So I doubt this will work.
It will just think the battery is overheating.

Re: Converting Delco 28Si to external regulation

I installed 2 temp sensors to each alternator.
One on the chassis, and one on the +pole on the rectifier.
And the temperature is actually 10`C more on the chassis,...

Its only used for the regulator to calculate the RPM of the alternator.

You can try to set it to 6 pole pairs and see how that works out.

Re: Converting Delco 28Si to external regulation

Well its 200A, so for me I chose 50mm2.

I guess 35mm2 of good quality would also be ok.

It also depends in the lengts, for me its only 1,5 meter.

Re: Converting Delco 28Si to external regulation

Here is how I did my Yanmar 4JH4AE.

Ome Delco 28SSI and one Balmar AT200.
Both with external regulators.
