Garmin Inreach for tracking for friends and family.

Epirb on boat due to legality here in Australia but essential on any offshore sailing yacht.

Yeah I agree with the water capturing system. It’s the dry season up north, I work in the Pilbara which typically has extremely low rainfall over winter however...

Thanks ive installed GDAL and it seems to have done the job.
Will keep areas to around 500nm long and 20nm wide which should be around 300mb.
Is there a library of kap files we can share Paul?

Powered usb hub did the trick. 5v/3a hub will need to hardware it into the 12v system when I get on board but does the job.

Interested in wireless system also
